Primary responsibility is the look, feel, and functionality of the KB articles which includes C#, XSLT, DHTML, and CSS work. Also was the main contributor to all DHTML throughout the site such as newsgroups, page tools, and statistics logging through the client-side. The technical lead tasked me to design and implement the client-side to server-side data transfer system responsible for tracking client statistics for the Support Family of Microsoft sites. This task required the coordination between several teams at Microsoft in order to communicate effectively the technical direction of this project and how to integrate with existing sites. The tech lead also gave me responsibility of creating the XSLT transforms that output the HTML code for all of the knowledge base articles in support.microsoft.com. This resulted in a 10% performance gain to the support.microsoft.com site compared with the previous version. After this was completed, I was given the further responsibility to create the next version of the knowledge base XSLT transforms.
